Hailed as Oscar night for the fashion community, last nights Met Costume Institute Gala marked the opening of Savage Beauty, the exhibit of Alexander McQueens iconic designs and the great and good of both the fashion and film industry seemed to be in attendance. Red, green and thigh-high splits (not all at once!) were the most dominant looks and we were treated to a few high profile statements including Ginnifer Goodwins emerald green maxi (complete with split) and Diane Krugers embellished number, also with the ubiquitous thigh-high split. One of our favourite looks of the evening however came courtesy of the perennially stylish Michelle Williams in Miu Miu simple with stunning results.
