Los Angeles – Screams echoed off the buildings as Bradley Cooper hit the black carpet in front of Graumans Chinese Theater in Hollywood Thursday evening May 19, as his masses of female fans who were squashed behind barricades got a glimpse of him. And Cooper, who came out to help launch “The Hangover Part II” at the star-studded premiere, made sure to oblige the ladies. He shook hands, kissed cheeks and posed for photos with his fans, mindful of that fact that original “The Hangover” is the movie that made him an A-list star.
“It was a game changer for me, for sure,” Cooper commented earlier during press interviews for the new comedy. “And theres no downside to it, other than if you want to look at a lack of anonymity, in terms of paparazzi and being tabloid fodder. Outside of that there are only plus sides and great opportunities.”
Cooper may be the biggest star to emerge from the huge success of “The Hangover,” but his fellow actors have also benefitted greatly by that exposure as well. They have all returned for the sequel too, along with director Todd Phillips. Ed Helms, Justin Bartha, Zack Galifianakis and Ken Jeong met up on the carpet, exchanged bear hugs and greeted the fans, too, including some very famous ones.
Robert Downey, Jr., Sean Combs, Jason Bateman, Mike Epps and Dax Shepard came to check out the guys latest hijinks, this time taking place in Bangkok instead of Las Vegas, as did a gang of star athletes including NBA players Ron Artest and Blake Griffin, NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez and Olympian Shaun White. Mike Tyson made the scene, too, along with rappers Nas and Flo Rida.
And men werent the only ones interested in being the first to see “The Hangover Part II”; there were plenty of beautiful women strolling into Graumans for the premiere as well. Gorgeous Jamie Chung, who is featured in the flick, led the way, followed by a very pregnant Alyssa Milano, along with Maria Menounos, Jordin Sparks, Lindsey Vonn, Terry Seymour and Kristen Bell.
